Doña Ana is a willing woman who for years worked as a domestic in family homes, so she enjoys the appreciation of many, but the time came when she felt the need to devote herself to her humble home, live with her loneliness and at the same time with her old age, as she is satisfactorily in the sixth decade of life, with a smile hanging on her sweet face, which has not allowed it to be taken away for any reason.

Ana, who for years had lived alone in a suburb of the city where thieves roam freely, on several occasions took the few belongings that the respectable lady acquired with effort. Tired of this situation, she decided to sell the small house with what she received from the sale plus what her bosses gave her for her years of service, she set out on a trip to the town where she was born to end her happy days there.

In that town Ana managed to buy a small plot of land with a house according to what she intended to have to spend her old age, there she could easily plant and have some animals that would feed her in the not too distant future, which she began to do to spend the day and also that for her it was distraction and joy, it was what she had always wanted and she enjoyed it with emotion.

Motivated by the daily work she did, she remembered that as a child she helped her father in the collection of beans, so she was encouraged and planted the food that soon collected and collected, so many beans were harvested that she had to go out to give as a gift to the inhabitants near the place, without imagining that she would meet again with who in the past had been her only and true love who for reasons of weight had to leave by decision of her parents.

Ana, tired of knocking at the door of that house to deliver the grains, took the risk of entering, finding that man, lying on an armchair, with a lost look, as if nothing mattered to him, whom she could recognize immediately and at the same time being stunned by what her eyes saw, Ana's tears were not contained just by observing the sad state of her great love.

She took him in her arms giving him a warm embrace, talking to him with her sweet words in his ear and with her soft hands caressed the face of the sad man who did not say a word, she tried to lift him from the couch, but it was useless, she went to the kitchen of the house where she could see that there was a warm broth so she assumed that he had a family and it was then when Ana left the house and continued her way.

On her way back home she met the neighbors who thanked her for the recent gesture, then she encouraged herself to ask about that man with a lost look and apparently speechless, receiving as an answer that he came to that place, taking refuge for the fact of having lost the love of his life whom nobody knew and who every time was consumed in his pain, the neighbors were who helped him with the food, but since days ago his condition was worse.

Without thinking twice, Ana looked for help to move him to her home to take care of him and give him back the life that Ernesto had lost because of his painful separation and so it was, from that very day, everything changed for that man who had the love of his life again, while she was exhausted every day, but happy at the end of her day with the hope that the work she was doing with Ernesto would be worth it. Many weeks and months went by, while she dedicated herself completely to recovering the man's health and at the same time tending to the crops and a few chickens and pigs that she had in the barnyard.

One fine day Ana, exhausted from so much work, fell asleep, when suddenly she heard noises in the house and when she woke up scared she went out to see what was happening, with the surprise that Ernesto had regained his sanity and when they looked at each other face to face the happiness was immense. Since then Ana began to live the life she had always dreamed of, full of love, peace and happiness; it was then when she realized that her whole life had been worth it.
