If I asked you, who you are, what is the first things that come to mind?
I guess many of us would be thinking about our career, and other things we have or have been able to achieve. Now if all these things we have achieved over the years are all stripped away from us, who are you?
The truth is we will still see ourselves defining who we are based on what we give our hearts to. Our identity is always tied to where ever we give out heart to.
What have we allowed to define us? Someone or something will have first place in our hearts but when we find our identity in the one who created us, it will change our whole perspective.
Who we are doesn't come from what the culture says or how we feel at certain times, who we are is not in the material things we have or in our achievement but who we are is supposed to be in the one man who created us, and as such if our identity is found in him, we will always know exactly who we are.

So it is normal that at some point we ask ourselves who really we are, and it is okay to live in confusion about who we are but when we meet the one who created us, we find our identity. The creator gets to define His creation and it is easy to know who we are when we meet the creator.
We are who God says we are in His scripture, created for a purpose and that is what we find our being. We were never a mistake, we are chosen, we are wanted, we are loved.
So this is what I do, whenever I doubt myself about who I am, I tell myself;
I am a child of God, created by God and he designed me so I am not a mistake.
