Hola de nuevo mi gente, ya llegamos a la 3ra entrega de "Grandes Artistas" y hoy hablare de uno cuya voz, letras y estilo musical cambio la vida de muchos en su debido momento como ya leyeron en el titulo el increíble Chester Bennington mejor conocido por ser el ex cantante de la gran banda Linkin Park.
Hello again my people, we have reached the 3rd installment of "Great Artists" and today I will talk about one whose voice, lyrics and musical style changed the lives of many in due time as you read in the title the incredible Chester Bennington best known for being the former singer of the great band Linkin Park.
Chester nació en 20 de marzo de 1976 en Phoenix Arizona músico, cantante, compositor excepcional y uno de los artistas mas influyentes del genero Nü Metal. Chester vivió una infacia sumamente triste tras ser abusado sexualmente desde los 8 años hasta los 13 años de edad, tras haber sufrido todos estos abuso se inicio en el mundo de las drogas como marihuana, cocaina, opio, metanfetaminas y LSD. En sus días de adolescente fue golpeado varias veces por abusivos por considerarlo diferente, delgado y raro.
Comenzo su carrera en la música con una banda llamada Sean Dowdell and His Friends?, lanzando un casete epónimo de tres pistas en 1993. Más tarde, Dowdell y Bennington se mudaron para formar Gray Daze, una banda post-grunge de Phoenix, Arizona. La banda grabó tres álbumes: Demo en 1993, Wake/Me en 1994, y ...No Sun Today en 1997. Chester was born on March 20, 1976 in Phoenix Arizona musician, singer, exceptional songwriter and one of the most influential artists of the Nü Metal genre. Chester lived an extremely sad childhood after being sexually abused from the age of 8 until the age of 13, after suffering all this abuse he started to use drugs such as marijuana, cocaine, opium, methamphetamines and LSD. In his teenage days he was beaten several times by bullies for considering him different, thin and weird.
He began his career in music with a band called Sean Dowdell and His Friends, releasing an eponymous three-track cassette in 1993. Later, Dowdell and Bennington moved on to form Gray Daze, a post-grunge band from Phoenix, Arizona. The band recorded three albums: Demo in 1993, Wake/Me in 1994, and ...No Sun Today in 1997. Bennington left Gray Daze in 1998, but had trouble finding another band.

The beginning of success: Linkin Park
Bennington was frustrated and almost ready to quit his music career when Jeff Blue, vice president of artists and repertoire at Zomba Music in Los Angeles, offered him an audition with the future members of Linkin Park.14 Bennington quit his job5 and took his family to California, where he had a successful audition with Linkin Park, which at the time was called Xero. He managed to record the song for his audition in one day, missing his own birthday celebration in the process. On October 24, 2000, Linkin Park released their debut album, Hybrid Theory, through Warner Bros. Records. Bennington and Shinoda wrote the lyrics for Hybrid Theory based on some past material.4 Shinoda noted the lyrics as interpretations of universal feelings, emotions and experiences, and as "everyday emotions that you talk about and think about. "Bennington later described the songwriting experience to Rolling Stone magazine in early 2002, saying that "it's easy to fall into that thing: 'poor, poor me,' that's where songs like 'Crawling' come from: I can't carry myself. But that song is about taking responsibility for our actions. I don't say 'you' at any point. It's about how I am and the reason why I feel the way I do. There's something inside of me that's getting me down. "
Bennington served as lead vocalist for Linkin Park, but occasionally shared the role with Shinoda. All Music Guide described Bennington's voice as "sharp" and "emotional," in contrast to Shinoda's hip-hop style.6 The two members also worked together to write the band's other song lyrics.
Pese al rotundo éxito de la banda Chester combatió durante toda su vida contra la depresión, la adiccion a las drogas, los abusos sufrido de niño entre muchas otras cosas cosa lo mantenía en un carrusel de emociones terribles cuna de las mejores letras pero del peor sufrimiento. Gran parte de la fanaticada e inclusive la banda misma solo veían una gran sonrisa en su rostro y una persona que a pesar de todo se mantenía en pie.
Una de las canciones mas iconicas relacionadas con su adicción a las drogas es Breaking The Habit del CD Meteora, donde habla directamente de como quiere romper para siempre esos malos hábitos creados por su adicción.
Despite the band's resounding success, Chester struggled throughout his life with depression, drug addiction, childhood abuse and many other things that kept him on a merry-go-round of terrible emotions that gave rise to some of the best lyrics but the worst suffering. Most of the fans and even the band itself only saw a big smile on his face and a person who in spite of everything kept standing.
One of the most iconic songs related to his drug addiction is Breaking The Habit from the Meteora CD, where he talks directly about how he wants to break forever those bad habits created by his addiction.
Chester lucho muchísimo por superar la gran depresión que lo consumía pero esta lo supero un 20 de julio de 2017, 3 días después de publicar en su Twitter un vídeo donde disfrutaba de una bonita noche en familia.
Chester struggled a lot to overcome the great depression that consumed him but he overcame it on July 20, 2017, 3 days after posting on his Twitter a video where he enjoyed a nice family night.
Vemos una persona pasandola bien pero no vemos una mente envenenada por todo el maltrato acarreado durante tantos años, una mente dañada por el consumo de drogas y alcohol, y un corazon desbaratado en mil pedazos que nunca se pudo reparar.
Quiero despedir este post aconsejandoles que ayuden a quienes piensen que estan mal o que estan pasando un mal rato, hay personas que rien demasiado para sufrir menos, sonrien a diario para ocultar tanto dolor, no duden en abrazarlos o aunque sea escucharlos porque quizaá con tan solo ese gesto puedan salvar una vida.

We see a person having a good time but we don't see a mind poisoned by all the abuse he carried for so many years, a mind damaged by drug and alcohol use, and a heart shattered into a thousand pieces that could never be repaired.
