Most days I go for a short walk through the woodland areas my local park to visit a very picturesque lake. However, Today I needed to go to Town for some much needed extra supplies for Christmas. The quickestest way to get there on foot, is by walking next to the canal along the footpath. In Winter it can get quite muddy though, so strong boots are usually required, but it was okay this time.
As a treat on the way home I stopped for a nice cup of Coffee from my friend "Grace", who owns the "Vintage Van" in the last photo of this post. She has been running her new business for just a few months now, and was initially worried that there would be less customers after the English Summer had ended.
I'm pleased to say that does not seem to of happened. As she gets plenty of passing trade from the owners of the Canal barges (see photos). Also walkers and cyclists stop there for a much needed hot Coffee too.

Love your walk and nice canal!
Thank you very much √
What a beautiful place. I would love to ride a boat like this on the canal :-)
Some people buy them as a Business (giving people rides). While others buy them to actually live in, and travel the length of the Canal ("house boats", you might say).
