Hawaii is an amazing place to go to. It is a tropical
island and is located in the Pacific Ocean, It is well known for their shaved
ice. I would really like to get some tropical flavours!
Hawaii has lost
more wildlife than any other state of the USA! Can you believe that? There is a
volcano in Hawaii that has been erupting for 30 years now and because of this
when the lava cools, it forms new land so the island keeps growing.
The Mauna Loa is one of the biggest volcanos in the
world! Geez how much lava does the volcano erupt. Hawaii is the only state that
is fully made out of islands and consists of eight islands in total. The word
Hawaii came from Proto-Polynesian Hawaiki, which means Place of gods or
homeland.
When they greet they say Aloha which means hello and
goodbye.
They grow a lot of pineapple there and also coffee. The islands are very isolated so you are only considered a Hawaiian if you are born there.
I would really love to go to Hawaii maybe I will some
day.
