Rock climbing is a sport that can be done both inside a gym outside in nature. If you want a challenge, give rock climbing a try.

Rock climbing requires some gear and a partner. It is a great strength-building exercise, and can be learned and mastered relatively quickly. You will need the proper gear, and will need to build your strength through regular attendance and exercise.

Benefits of rock climbing.

Rock climbers will be challenged both physically and mentally. There will be a noticeable buildup of strength in the upper body muscles and the calves. Rock climbing is a fun exercise that is good for team building and deepening friendships. Rock climbing is almost a primal connection to the past, when we climbed trees and mountains to find food and survive.

Make sure you get instruction from an experienced rock climbing group before you go out on a rock face or gym wall. Contact your local gym with a climbing wall and inquire about instruction.
