This season so far has been a blessing to some clubs who have been performing well while it has also been a heartache for teams who have been playing poorly or team who have been trying their best but not getting good results, and you know when a team is performing so poorly, the coach bears the brunt the most. This is the moment he's usually subjected to immense pressure and and most probably given a deadline before his appointment is terminated
When you talk about a top club coach that has been performing so poorly since the beginning of the season then Mike Arteta comes to mind. Out of all the top EPL teams who come short of expectations last season have now woken up from their slumber this season but that of Arsenal is a different ball entirely
They have been so inconsistent this season that they've only won one of their five matches. They just lost to Tottenham this past weekend and are currently wallowing at the bottom of the table with just 13 points. In fact, to tell you how worse their performance is, they are just a few steps away from relegation
Arsenal have only managed to score 10 goals thus far, and only the bottom 3 teams have scored less than that. They are facing Burnley in the next match day and the outcome of the game might help the Arsenal board to make a better decision on whether to show Arteta the exit door or still give him a little more time
I know it may sound impossible for a team like Arsenal to relegate but if they continue this way the unimaginable can happen. This is Football!
