Each time I remember how excited I used to be about wrestling when we were still kids, I come to realize we've all been fooled. Each time I remember the kicks, punches and side drama surrounding wrestling, I now see it as illusion
Please don't get me wrong, I'm not trying to say that those punches are not painful or those sustain injuries sustained in the course of fighting isn't real. All im trying to say is that wrestling is more or less a Hollywood movie
Can you remember how someone would bury The Undertaker and vice versa and he would disappear leaving everyone frightened only to see him appear on the other side of the stage and the fight continues?.
Can you also remember how a wrestler who is already at the verge of winning would foolishly let himself to be distracted by fans or the referee and then the opponent would sneak behind him, smash him from behind and wins the fight
I can go on and on to explain how fake wrestling is, but I didn't get to know these things until I became an adult. Now, I prefer to watch cartoon networks than Wrestling cos I've lost my excitement for it
Of course, there is a lot of pain inflicted though but wrestlers are also athletes which most people overlook
How did you feel growing up to realize wrestling is fake?
I remember that I loved wrestling. But I realized in time that it was a sham and I stopped liking it. I don't take credit for its wrestlers. Now I prefer the UFC and MMA
