With the way this season is going, it looks like the underdogs are doing everything they can to give the top teams a run for their money
Tottenham are back to to improve upon their sixth-place finish last season and win a first top-flight title since 1961. Their current pace is not bad as they are currently sitting in the third position in the table having played 8 games, won five, drew two and lost only one.
Jose Mourinho replaced Mauricio Pochettino in November last term and he's really doing his best to make sure the team better and stronger this season. If I'm to guess, it's very possible Tottenham will finish top 4 if things continue like this for them
Chelsea's performance last season was not really impressive, so Frank Lampard is doing everything he can to resurrect his team and has been working on the inconsistency issues that plagued his team last season. He brought host of starting players, including Ben Chilwell, Timo Werner and Kai Havertz into the team and there has been great improvement in the team's performance
They are currently in the fifth posting having played 8 games, won 4 games, 3 draws and 1 defeat
Manchester United are yet to wake up from their slumber since Sir Alex Ferguson left. Their performance so far since the season started has been poor, having played 8 games, won three, drew one and lost four, and are currently sitting at 14 position. This is one of the worse start of the season for Manchester United just as the same thing happened last season
Leicester City, Southampton, Everton and Aston Villa are other underdogs who have been so consistent with their performance this season. The Underdogs are also at the forefront in the table but we don't know how long they are going to remain there
Apart from Liverpool who are still capable of retaining the league title, do you think this is the season for the underdogs to win the 2020/21 Premier League?
