I wrote yesterday that my Gameweek was doing ok and it did improve with last night's results. Diogo Jota scored twice and got a 3 point bonus, Trent Alexander-Arnold kept a clean sheet and Aaron Ramsdale kept a clean sheet made 4 saves and got a 2 point bonus for an additional total score of 31 points - almost doubling the score that my previous 8 had got me.
As I wrote yesterday though, this wasn't much help to me. Almost every team around my position has these 3 players and many even captained Diogo Jota so despite my score of 66 being above average for the Gameweek (50 points), I got a red arrow and dropped to 166,056 overall.
With Gameweek 25 starting again tomorrow with Brighton and Man Urd both playing twice in this Gameweek, I need to decide whether to follow the crowd, probably getting in and captaining Bruno Fernandes (who would transfer out again for GW26) or if I should forget Man Utd altogether (they've been pretty terrible) and make my Salah move now. I've pondered this long and hard already and have little confidence in Man Utd's players and with Salah looking lively against Leicester, I think I know what the best move will be.
