With the Double Gameweek finally over, I can breathe a sigh of relief as the Man Utd assets didn't hurt me too badly. I knew it would be tricky going into this Gameweek without the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo or Bruno Fernandes as my captain but I preferred instead to concentrate on the Double Gameweek 26 and maximising the potential there instead.
So here was my team - 50 points, slightly above average (47) but a fairly big red arrow down to 206,334.
The biggest disappointments here are Diogo Jota's cameo to score me 1 point, knowing that I'd benched Anthony Gordon who was desperate to come on and provide me with an impressive 14 points. I came close to starting Gordon, instead of playing Edouard up front but my confidence of Edouard starting was enough for me to pick the Crystal Palace man.
In one sense, I was lucky that Cancelo didn't play and I had Pinnock coming off the bench. I'd have appreciated a bit more luck which hopefully the FPL Gods will be saving for me to have a monster Gameweek 26.
I currently have 8 Double Gameweek players and then Cancelo (TOT (H)), Cash (WAT (H)) and Bowen (NEW (H)) so a very strong starting XI before I make a transfer. Despite Pinnock finally doing something for me, I'm probably going to sell him for Ben Mee and target Burnley's 2 Double Gameweeks in a row. Perhaps binning of Jota for Cornet before Gameweek 27 as I can't quite stretch to Weghorst at the moment. I'll give it more thought...
