The cricketers have returned to the sphere with the BCB President's Cup ODI tournament this month after an extended break from Corona. The tournament has already ended successfully.
The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) had earlier said it wanted to host a company T20 tournament in mid-November. The name of this tournament is Bangabandhu T20 Cup 2020.
The BCB has asked for an Expression of Interest (EOI) instead of a five-team sponsor for the tournament. On Wednesday (October 26) in Mirpur, BCB chief executive Nizamuddin Chowdhury expressed hope that an honest response would be forthcoming.
The chief executive said, ‘Of course hopefully. Since everyone has been out of cricket for a protracted time. As you'll see, we've successfully organized a three-team tournament as a part of our decide to launch competitive cricket. the subsequent step is to possess a 5-team tournament. Which we've already given the Expression of Interest (EOI) than the team sponsor. '
Regarding the player draft and other issues, he said, "We haven't finalized these issues yet. We are attempting to verify the team sponsors as soon as possible then make a call in consultation with all the stakeholders we've.
