Delhi topped Rajasthan again

Delhi Capitals became irresistible during this IPL. Shreyas Ayyar's team isn't visiting be stuck within the fight for the highest spot. Mumbai Indians took the place. Delhi have risen to beloved within the points table after beating Rajasthan Royals.

Delhi failed to allow Rajasthan to fight in Sharjah. Won by an enormous margin of 48 runs. They now have 10 points after winning 5 of 6 matches. Rohit Sharma's Mumbai Indians have dropped to 2 with 6 points from 4 wins within the same match.

Chasing an enormous target of 165, Rajasthan lost hopefully to Joss Butler (13 off 7 balls) but Rajasthan kept their hopes alive till 1/2 the innings. At the top of 10.2 overs, they'd 72 runs for two wickets. However, captain Steven Smith (24 off 18 balls) returned to the room after 58 runs. However, the important disaster of Rajasthan started after Sanju Samson (5 off 9 balls) was out.

The team kept losing one wicket after another within the cannons of Delhi bowlers. Jaswasi Jaswell fought a touch over one edge. But his innings of 34 off 36 balls failed to match the T20 in any respect. Rajasthan, who lost 6 wickets for 100 runs, were bowled out for 136 with two balls to spare within the last innings. Rahul Teatia made 36 off 29 balls towards the top which reduced the margin of defeat of the team a touch.

Kagiso Rabada took 3 wickets for Delhi Capitals. Marcus Stones and Ravichandran Ashwin took 2 wickets each.

Earlier, after losing the toss, Delhi was in big trouble. The team lost 5 wickets for 109 runs in 13 overs in Peru. From there, Simron Hetmeyer pulled the team in an exceedingly stormy batting.

Karthik Tyagi stopped Hetmeyer's storm with the last ball of the 16th over. The way he hit Wide Long On could even have been a six.

In the end, Akshar Patel's 17 off 8 balls and Hershal Patel's 18 off 15 balls helped the Delhi Capitals to an enormous collection of 164 runs for six wickets.
