It was a life-and-death match for the Delhi Capitals. Play-off is guaranteed if you win, but Eliminator can also lose if you lose.

However, Royal Challengers Bangalore lost by 6 wickets and easily secured the second qualifier. And even after losing, Virat Kohli has taken a place in the eliminator.
The team that finished the first round with 16 points will play against Mumbai Indians in the first qualifier next Thursday. Kolkata will be eliminated if Sunrisers Hyderabad beat Mumbai Indians in the last match on Tuesday.
