Arsenal picked up a draw in their mid week premier league game against Southampton at the emirates stadium on Wednesday night.
The game started with the visitors taking the lead in the eighteenth minute through ex Arsenal player Theo Walcott which looked to have weakened the Arsenal players as the visitors kept on being threatening on the counter attack.
Arsenal took over the game in the second half with several attacks especially through young star Bukayo Saka. The persistence eventually paid off as a drive by the young star led to a goal from captain Aubameyang.
However, things took a different turn when defender Gabriel was shown a second yellow which led to a red card reducing Arsenal to ten men. The saints tried to capitalize on the numerical advantage but Arsenal were able to hold out for a vital draw.
