Finally, Real Madrid has seen its first win in the current Champions League. Zinedine Zidane's side won a thrilling 3-2 win over Inter Milan with a last-minute goal from Brazilian striker Rodrigo.
Real would have feared that they would have secured the second leg if they had lost to Nerazzurri in the previous two matches. However, this time Los Blancos left the field after collecting full three points.
The Spanish giants took the lead in the 25th minute of the match at home to Santiago Bernabeu with a goal from Karim Benzema. Real, however, could not hold the gap for long. Lotaro Martinez equalized for Inter in the 35th minute through Nicolo Barrella's backhill.
In the 33rd minute, Real went ahead again with the head of Sergio Ramos. This is the 100th goal of the Spanish defender in the Blancos jersey.
Inter returned to the match in the second half. Ivan Perisic equalized for the Nerazzurri after receiving the ball from Martinez's head. However, Jiju's disciples did not allow Inter to share the points. Rodrigo scored Real's winning goal in the 70th minute through an impeccable pass from compatriot Vinicius Jr.
Real beat Shakhtar Donetsk in second place in Group B with 4 points. The Spanish champions are one point behind top-placed Borussia Mশnchengladbach. Inter with 2 points at the end of all.
In another group match, Gladbach beat Shakhtar 6-0 in a player hat-trick in Alassane.
