I still can’t accept that Vilgil van Dijk will absent for about 7 months following his knee ligament injury. It’s quite difficult for Liverpool to play many games without a strong defender like van Dijk. I can not imagine how Liverpool play without van Dijk.
So who will replace him. Is it Joe Gomes or Joel Matip? They are good defenders, but they are not as good as Virgil van Dijk. Or maybe, Liverpool will sign a new defender in January 2021?
It’s easy for Liverpool to go through this season. For sure, they should not rely on van Dijk only. Other players will also have responsibility to help Liverpool win trophies this season.
I believe Jurgen Klopp will have a good plan and strategy to play games without Virgil van Dijk. I hope Liverpool will still play well and win the title.
