As a Liverpool fan, I hope Liverpool will sign a new defender following Virgil van Dijk got injured when playing against Everton. And now the defending area of Liverpool become too risky. I am sure who can replace van Dijk. It’s so pity. Fabinho may be good, but he is not as good as van Dijk.
Jurgen Klopp have to think to sign a new strong defender. Virgil van Dijk will be absent for long time, may be about 7-8 months. I guess he won’t play for the rest of the season.
Some people suggested to sign Conor Coady from Wolverhampton. I am not sure he will be suitable for Liverpool, he is not as good as van Dijk.
I remember when watching how Everton’s goalkeeper was totally not responsible for his horror tackle on Liverpool's main pillar, Virgil van Dijk. I can't imagine how Liverpool would have gone this season without Virgil van Dijk.
