Roberto Lewandowski insisted that he want to leave Bayern Munich and go to another club, he meant it till extend that he mentioned it when he was interviewed at Poland his home country, he said he had been telling the Bayern Munich board of directors but they didn't do anything to it. To me, he has already tried in Germany, he has spent like 12 years in Germany, he reached Germany in 2010 when he played for Burrusia Dortmund for like 4 years and moved to Bayern Munich. In Bayern Munich, Lewandowski has spent good 8 years now.
To be in a country for 12 years, he must have become their citizen, so to insist that he want to try another place, I think he had tried. Maybe he should not have sign the 5 years contract that he signed last with Bayern Munich, if he had signed just 3 or 4 years contract and by now he would have just go to wherever he want to go with free transfer, but he still have a year contract with Bayern Munich, Bayern Munich still have say on him, they can delay him if they don't want him to leave no matter how much he talk to the news or announce to the world that he want to leave Bayern Munich
But Bayern Munich won't want him to go free by next season, they would want to gain money on him, so they would surely sell him to any club he want if he insist that he want to go. Age is not on Lewandowski's side again, he is 33, he would be 34 by next year, so if Bayern Munich delay him till coming season, he would definitely play his best football as he always play, he may even play more than that in the coming season because of his age and he won't still give up as Cristiano Ronaldo is still playing at 37, maybe he would win Baloon Do'r like Kareem Benzema is close to be the winner of Baloon Do'r for the season that just ended as he's voted the best player of Champions League now and he scored 44 goals in 46 matches this in this season.
