Robertson out of Scotland's squad to face Slovakia as Liverpool's injury list swells

Liverpool's left back and captain of the Scotland national team Andy Robertson has been left out of his country's squad to face Slovakia later today.

The Scottish captain who was in action when his country defeated Serbia to book a place in next year's euros is suspected to have pulled his hamstring and when the team news for his country's game against Slovakia was made public, the dfender didn't even make the bench.

This adds to a growing injury concern for Liverpool's boss Jurgen Klopp who already has two senior center backs VVD and Joe Gomez out with knee injuries, young full back Alexander Arnold and Fabinho also out with injuries. The coach would be hoping Robertson's absence from the team list is precautionary and nothing serious as the team prepare to face Leicester city after the international break.

Should Robertson sit out of that game, Klopp would be left without a single of his most regular back four and would have to look for alternatives.
