As tributes continue to pour in after the passing away of football great Diego Armando Maradona, his former club Napoli have decided to rename their stadium after the sports icon. The stadium would be re-called Diego Armando Maradona/san paolo as the club has already decided so as the the mayor of Naples too.
Maradona won two scudettos with Napoli during his time with the club and also became their all time highest goal scorer during that period a record which has now been surpassed by Marek Hamsik and Dries Martens.
The legendry footballer died yesterday from a heart attack according to sources in Argentina and the news has shocked not just the footballing world but the world at large.
