Thiago has fallen in love with Liverpool fans through a winning streak against Chelsea.
After his transfer from Bayern Munich was confirmed, Thiago stepped in for the Reds. He played as a substitute in the second half of the Chelsea vs Liverpool match on Sunday (21/09/2020).
Thiago could not spend more time with the Liverpool squad due to recent moves. Juargen Klopp, however, put his name on the list of alternatives and even fielded Thiago Alcantara instead of captain Jordan Henderson, who was suspected of having a thigh injury.
Thiago went through the performance for 45 minutes. He made 75 successful passes in the second half, which already surpassed the number of passes by all Chelsea players in 90 minutes of play!
