A world cup is a continental football show hosted after 4 years by a national team selected by the federation international football association (FIFA) to host the tournament which is also known as the world football’s greatest show.
World cup is been contested by 32 national team from various continents all over the world which must have qualified from their various group stage match, there were lots of moments and memories to treasure and also remember.
The largest city in Europe (Russia), begin their World Cup campaign with a 5-0 win over Saudi Arabia, Russia were the lowest the ranked side going into the tournaments and struggling for wins. Yet the host inspired the nation by reaching the quarter-finals.

My over ridding memory from this world cup actually belongs to a small bar on a road called ulitsa pyatnitskaya, where I watch Russia beat 2010 champions Spain on penalty shootout.

Also England finished fourth after their 2-0 defeat to Belgium, luka modric and kylian mbappeon won the player and young player of the tournament while kylian mbappe won the player and young player of the tournament respectively.
I must say that anyone who watch the 2018 FIFA world cup must have a memory to say about the continental tournament, in my opinion this is the best world cup a country has ever hosted. Thank you Russia, for hosting a truly memorable world cup.
