Ishant Sharma is no longer playing in the IPL

Experienced pace star Ishant Sharma has been dropped from the ongoing IPL in the United Arab Emirates. Delhi Capitals will not get him again due to a rib injury. The Delhi pacer's IPL tour ended with just one match. He was reportedly injured in the left side of his ribs during practice on October 8.

Ishant played in a match against Sunrisers Hyderabad. Did not get any wicket in that match. Delhi Capitals are now second in the league table with 10 points from seven matches. Undoubtedly they are in a good position. But even though Delhi is in great rhythm, the cricketers' injuries are increasing their worries.
Experienced legspinner Amit Mishra has already been ruled out of the IPL due to a finger injury. This time they lost to the experienced fast bowler of the Indian national team. Rishabh Panth will have to stay out of the field for a week due to injury. In the next few matches, Delhi will have to continue playing without Panth.
