American Winston McKennie joined German Schalke 04 back in 2017 from FC Dallas' academy. After some good seasons in the Bundesliga, Italian Juventus noticed the talented midfielder and brought him to Turin, where he has impressed in the club's otherwise disappointing season.
Just a year after picking up McKennie, the central midfielder may already be heading away again. According to the American media The Independent, Tottenham have approached Juventus about McKennie, and Juventus is reportedly not dismissive.
The Independent writes that the 22-year-old American can be picked up for less than 35 million. Juventus have recently brought the Italian European Championship player, Manuel Locatelli, to the club, so McKennie may be looking into a future without the big playing time for the Italian vice-champions.
McKennie reached 46 games last season for Juventus where he scored six goals and made three assists.
