Stevenson expressed his appreciation for the crowd that he created such a memorable atmosphere on Saturday night at the MGM Grand Garden Arena.
"I wanted to shut them up," Stevenson said during his post-fight news conference. "Like when I was coming out, I heard them screaming louder and louder. And I said to myself, 'I'm going to shut them up.' And as the fight went on, I just heard crickets. I heard silence. And it felt good to shut them up. And so I was like, 'Shhh!' But at the end of the day, I'm glad they came out to support. come out and I appreciate them."
