Guardiola Did This One.

It's easier to love and hate Guardiola at the same.time. They don't call him the tinkering man for no reason. That man can be so impressive and annoying at the same time. We have come to accept him the way he is because he is so good at what he does and most of the time he gets away with it.

I would have thought that Foden being in the form that he is that Guardiola would start him over the weekend against Brighton but no, he didn't. Guardiola made me lose points on Foden in my Fantasy Premier League. It's not the first time he has done this. He did with Bernado Silva earlier in the season. He also did with Haaland during the UEFA Champions League. Not many Fantasy Premier League managers like Guardiola because when you have his players in your team, it is very hard to predict if they will start or not except you are Haaland.

There was a time he dropped Kevin De Bruyne and I couldn't cry that time. He is a tinkering man and would always switch things up. I don't understand how that man thinks but he is a perfectionist who doesn't want to be predicted. I should have gained more points but for the tinkering man.

I lost points again due to my lack of foresight too. This is the third week in a row that I would have a player on the bench who has more points than the one I started. It happened with Lloris. I went for Lloris and still happened with Alisson. It also happened when I had Almiron on the bench and started Andreas. Now, it's even more frustrating as I had Andreas on the bench and Foden gave me little or no point. I don't know how to fix this anymore because it's hard to predict these things.

I just have to gamble it and hope it pays off in the end because it's hard to take off Almiron, Foden and maybe Trossard might be the casualty so I can stick Andreas in or I sacrifice a defender to accommodate all my 4 midfielders but like I said, it's a gamble because that might be when one of these defenders would perform exceptionally and even score 🤣.

Premier League is full of surprises they say and even so the Fantasy Premier League too because you don't know which player might turn up or not. Gabriel Jesus is playing decent game but I need someone exceptional up top. I might have to drop him so I can get Salah or Debruyne which means I would revert to front two instead of 3. I prefer Haaland and Harry Kane up top.

Everything calls for calculation and I have to do my part and hope for the best. Let's hope I make a better decision this weekend again.

Cheers.
