Can Tottenham Snatch It?

It has been a long road for Tottenham and they can be proud of how far they have come. It has been a long and bumpy ride but they only have two more hurdles to come while they hope Arsenal would crumble under the weight of the pressure to sustain the 4th place.

The North London derby ended in Victory for Tottenham after they put Arsenal to the sword with 3-0 after Harry Kane got his double and Son beautifies the scoreline. Tottenham now stays in 5th, just one point behind Arsenal and it begs the question, "Can Tottenham snatch it late at the end?"

In this league, I can't rule anything away. With the form Arsenal has been, I expected them to win or draw against Tottenham but they lost. Rob Holding also got a second yellow card after he caught Son in the face. Gabriel also left the pitch to be replaced by Tavares and this shows that Arsenal might not hold on to the 4th place after all.

Arsenal has tougher fixtures still to come with Newcastle United and Everton. Newcastle United would pose a threat to Arsenal while Everton, behind backed against the wall, would want to stay in the Premier League and how else can they do it than to beat Arsenal on the last day. These two games won't be easy for Arsenal and now, that's why I think Tottenham might snatch it late in the end.

Tottenham would be playing Burnley next and then Norwich. I think only Burnley can post a threat to Tottenham because they are also fighting to stay in the league and they have picked up form recently but already relegated Norwich shouldn't be a problem for a spirited Tottenham, no disrespect. Tottenham would go full throttle against Norwich if they want to snatch it at the end and that's if Everton can do them the favour and they both won their next game before then.

I thought Arsenal would profit from Tottenham's inconsistency but Tottenham proved they have what it takes to play in the Champions League by putting Arsenal to the sword with a North London defeat. Antonio Conte would also need to speak with Son so he can be in the best frame of mind to push for their desired goal.

Son was angry after being taken off to be replaced by Bergwijn. He is chasing the Premier League top goalscorer too after he scored one. He is just a goal behind Mohammed Salah who is on 22 goals and he hoped the coach would leave him on to add to his overall tally. He played a good game and they caged Arsenal. He hoped he can at least use that to increase his season's tally but Antonio Conte had other plans.

I personally think he should have helped him by keeping him on. Yes, it's for the team and everyone can understand Antonio Conte on that but I feel for Son too because he is so close and all he needed was the help of his team and his coach. Antonio knew the Arsenal game has been won already and his focus has shifted already to Sunday against Burnley, so Son shouldn't take it to heart too much. Qualifying for the Champions League is much more important to Conte than a personal feat.

I don't know maybe gone are the days where every player tries to help another teammate to achieve that feat but I feel they should have done that for Son as it would mean a lot to him. He shouldn't be deterred but he should use that as an advantage to put Burnley to the sword on Sunday.

We have tussle at the top of the table, at the bottom of the table and now between 4th placed and 5th. This season is exciting and I am looking forward to how it all ends.

Cheers.

I am grateful.

This is a tough-tough battle and chances are that arsenal may bottle their chance of playing UCL next season. Tottenham recently picked up a good form so, let's see how the last games will play out for both side.

I fear Arsenal would bottle it too. The two games they have are against those who wants to hang on in the EPL by fire and force. Tottenham might just snatch it from them.
