The Sunday London derby between Chelsea and Arsenal is one of the worst performances I have seen from the blues in recent years, and surprisingly Stamford Bridge is no longer the magical place it use to be for them. They lost the favor on that soil and I don't see things getting better for the club, especially with the signing of Graham Potter as the manager of the club.

A few people think I have a beef with the English man but that's not true. I am only concerned about the love I have for the club even though I am not a fan.

Arsenal last visited Stamford Bridge on the 20th of April 2022 and it ended in a defeat for Chelsea just like we saw back then but losing today was more annoying than what I saw back in April. Although the blues lost then, we still saw the fighting spirit in them.

Then, Chelsea had the biggest share of dominance even though they conceded multiples unexpectedly. It was a different case in the 2022/23 season, they are the underdogs in all areas of the pitch. They lacked in defense, their midfield is nothing to write home about and it is worse in attack depending on Aubameyang who only announced his presence with a yellow card before being substituted.

Chelsea has lost two crucial Premier League matches back to back and like I have always said Potter's is not the magician to return the blues to glory day. I won't deny the fact that Chelsea has some injured players that can make a difference for the team but the truth remains that nothing is certain even when they return.

It doesn't get easier for Chelsea in their next few matches and they could suffer any other great humiliation in their next premier league match. Before then, Graham potters and his boys will travel to the Etihad Stadium for the third round of the EFL. That might be an easy pass for Manchester City even though their victory over the weekend seems to be patched.

Manchester City isn't in their best shape but they aren't as bad as the Chelsea squad. After that EFL encounter, Chelsea will face Newcastle. This is another side that is bossing clubs around in the English Premier League, they have only lost to Liverpool this season and the likes of Manchester City and Tottenham have tasted a dose of their poison, Newcastle is capable of wrecking so much havoc against Chelsea.

Another humiliation awaits Chelsea against Newcastle if Potter's doesn't get things right in the space of one week. He is a great coach judging by the fact of what he did at Brighton, he isn't just ready for the bigger challenge but if the club can be patient enough, hopefully, he will make the club great again.

After the derby match, I concluded that the sky isn't blue in London anymore. We saw Arsenal trash Tottenham a few weeks ago and you can tell what the color of the London sky is now. So far this season, Arsenal remains the king of the London derby.

Arsenal is doing the unbelievable, Mikel Arteta seems to be favored by the god of football and you can tell how determined they are with the results they get from every match. Aside from the loss against Manchester United, Arsenal has stood tall against even the big boys in the league.

The challenge for the league title is going more smoothly for Arsenal than any other Premier League club at the moment. If things go on like this for them, I doubt if anyone will beat them to the Premier League title. It is too early to decide the league winner now but Arsenal has given it quite a convincing performance which makes them the biggest contender for the title.
