There have been lots of stories surrounding Sadio Mane's move to Bayern Munich after the deal was sealed on Friday, the Senegalese choosing to explore the world as other great players have done ahead of him shouldn't be a problem I guess.

He has had a successful career in the English Premier League with Liverpool since joining them from Southampton, I remembered the damage he caused Liverpool before Jurgen Klopp took interest in him. He handed Southampton a comeback victory with a brace against Liverpool, it was a dramatic performance from Mane at the Saint Mary stadium back in the 2015/16 season.

His time at Liverpool defined his career and I am certain that there are still better days ahead now that he is with one of the best clubs in Europe, Bayern Munich's dominance in the Bundesliga would definitely make him achieve more with the club and he might just be the missing piece they needed to win the Uefa Champions League. Mane's contribution to Liverpool can't be overlooked, he has lifted the team throughout his time in Liverpool and his ability to play as a striker plus winger is a huge thing for any club he plays with.

He is a specialist in driving into defenses, it takes extra caution to tackle him because he becomes dangerous when in the box. I have enjoyed him playing and Liverpool will miss him, a lot of fans are not happy with the decision, and I will like to share my point of view surrounding the things I have read about regarding Sadio Mane's transfer.

Liverpool will regret allowing him to go.

Sadio Mane is an exceptional player with great potential, he is big and confident in his abilities so Liverpool talking him into staying at the club after telling them he won't be signing a new contract in 2023 when his contract expires will be a great mistake.

He was ready to make an impact somewhere else and it is best they let him go, now is the best time to do so because the club will make nothing out of him leaving on a free transfer next season. Gone are the days when footballers stay at a club for a decade or more, there is a lot to explore in the world of football, and footballers this day wouldn't hesitate to grab the opportunity to enjoy football in a different part of the world.

He might come back to hurt Liverpool but I am not sure that's regret, players are meant to come and go, and no matter how hard it would be for the club or player, it just has to happen at a point in time.

Liverpool can't find a replacement like Mane soon.

I can't see into the future to know how true this is but I partially do not agree with the claim by many football fans.

Before the era of Mane, Salah, and Firmino, let's remember we had the SSS. Sterling, Sturridge, and Suarez were a force to reckon with alongside Coutinho even though they had nothing to show for it. Suarez was considered the future for Liverpool but he decided to leave and a lot of fans said the same thing about Liverpool not getting a replacement for him.

It took time before Sadio Mane, Salah and Firmino came up but in the long run, they were able to do what the SSS couldn't go close to. Mane is great like I said earlier, we have seen the best of him but who knows what the likes of Diogo Jota, Luis Diaz, and Nunez Darwin could become for the club. Their future is unpredictable just like Mane was during his early days at Liverpool, it is hard to say if they will perform above or below Mane's achievements but it is impossible to have an era forever, new players will come and make an impact as well.

Jurgen Klopp practicing favoritism between Mane and Salah.

Some fans believe that the Liverpool manager practicing favoritism between Mane and Salah made the Senegalese man want to leave at all costs.

I mentioned earlier that there isn't anything bad about a player leaving when they feel like it is time to do so, I don't believe in the favoritism story though because these two players play different wings and have worked together to achieve results. No one knows the team better than a coach and he has his reasons for playing a player ahead of another, if he wasn't getting results by doing it is the issue but as long as it working for the club and not just individual praises, I don't think that favoritism.

There might be debate about who is better but that doesn't count, they have won the Uefa Champions League together, the Premier League, Uefa Super Cup, World Club Cup, FA, and Carling Cup as well. If their combination has achieved so much, I believe they are good.

It is great when players take on new challenges, the likes of Ronaldo, Ibrahimovic, and others enjoyed touring the world even at their age and I believe Mane still has a lot to deliver in the Bundesliga.

He has the power, skills, and vision, he has succeeded in Premier League and will do so anywhere with the right team. We will miss him in the Liverpool shirt but the Anfield blood will definitely still run in his veins because once a Kop makes you a Kop forever.

It was six years well spent for Sadio Mane, he will remain a legend in the heart of my Liverpool fans forever.
