It was a totally changed Liverpool team that Jürgen Klopp sent on the turf to the FA Cup showdown against Norwich, with as many as ten changes compared to the Carabao Cup final against Chelsea on Sunday night. Well enough, there were new players on the field, but Liverpool's expression was unmistakable, who played a completely approved match.

It took some time for Liverpool, to really play in hopla, with a couple of unconcentrated passes, but it was a first half that was characterized by total Liverpool dominance and quick combinations. After 27 minutes, Tsimikas sent a free kick in high over the penalty box. However, Divock Origi made a spectacular save. Then Liverpool stood on the rest of the first half, who at times played with the Norwich players with great superiority. Especially Curtis Jones and Minamino, who must be disappointed to miss this weekend's final, played excellent fast and technical football. It was also Minamino who again stood free at the back of the field at the 2-0 score, which he blasted up in the nearest corner, sending the ball on a full round in the goal net.

At the start of the second half, they were dozing off to sleep, with Liverpool calmly playing around Norwich, as were the training cones. That changed, however, after a Norwich goal out of the blue, where Lukas Rupp resolutely kicked the ball into the box, out of the box, in the 76th minute. The spark was briefly ignited in the Norwich players after the goal, but Liverpool still played themselves a sure and extremely well-deserved victory in house, sending Liverpool into the FA Cup quarter-finals for the first time under Klopp's leadership. Thus, Liverpool is still in the fight for all four trophies. They secured their first trophy this weekend, they follow City closely in the Premier League, the quarter-final was secured today in the FA Cup and next week, they will secure a quarter-final in the Champions League at Anfield after a 2-0 victory away against Inter.

Nice review of this intense encounter between these two sides. This is probably the fourth meeting between Liverpool and Norwich this season and the story have always shown the same ending - A win for Liverpool.

Norwich will surely be gutted by their fate this season. Nonetheless, they tried in today's game. The fact that they didn't sit too deep in their own half is commendable

Seems like Liverpool are seriously thinking of a quadruple or at least, a treble this season.
