Why I’m a Huge Fan of Badminton...

Yesterday I wrote about why I am a huge fan of tennis, so I will be following it up with this post about why I am a huge fan of badminton. Badminton was among the first sport I played while growing up and like I said previously, I was privileged enough to own the badminton racket and the shuttle, so all I needed was to tie a net across an open space to play with friends. I have to, it was extremely fun. Actually, that was pretty much how I got started playing badminton. From playing with few friends in my neighborhood, to playing it in a more professional setting.

Before I got to own the badminton racket and shuttle, I used to admire badminton players on the television… I never had the chance to watch any badminton sport live. Years later down the road, I got a gift and behold, it was some sport gears and among them was tennis bat, badminton racket and shuttle and others… for me, it was like a dream as I didn’t expect to own anything concerning badminton as a child. Since I already watched and knew how the sport was played… it was all about learning the rules. Those were incredible moments for me.

Back then, all I needed was to put a net across an open space to play and enjoy badminton. As years went by, I became more accustomed to playing badminton and as always wanted more. Visiting sport centers and having the opportunity to play badminton in a more professional way was one of those incredible moments. As far as I’m concerned, badminton is one of the most entertaining and fun sport, hence why it is probably my most favorite sport. It is incredibly fun to play badminton.
