Brisk walking is one of those exercises people do without even knowing they are exercising. As simple as brisk walking is, it is really effective in what it does and the benefits it has on fitness. Like you already know, I love anything that involves fitness… I enjoy it and for me, it is one of those things that I consider my hobby even though it is for my own benefit. For those who might be wondering what the hell is brisk walking…

I know the term brisk is what is confusing a lot of persons, it also did when I first came across the word brisk walking… everyone knows what walking is, but adding brisk to the walking changes everything about what people perceive it to be and what it is all about entirely… Brisk walking is basically walking at a brisk pace…

Some sources define it as walking in a pace of more than three miles per hour… nonetheless, regardless of the pace you walk at when brisk walking… the bottom line is that brisk walking is walking no matter how you want to twist and turn it or look at it… because the moment a unique name is placed on something, the brain begins to want to treat it as something special… brisk walking is not special which means that anyone can brisk walk and for me, it is one of the effective ways to keep fit.

I brisk walk a lot since it is very easy to do. When I decide to have a little walk, I use that opportunity to brisk walk, so instead of the normal way I walk, I just up the pace and try to adjust my walking to fall under the brisk walking umbrella. It is fun I have to say and the more you do it, the more you understand how amazing it is when it comes to exercising and keeping fit.

Just like a lot of aerobic exercises that relates to cardio, brisk walking is great for weight loss… it is very good way to maintain healthy weight. Since brisk walking involves the use of legs, it is great for strengthen your bones and leg muscles which also helps to improve balance. Overall, when you brisk walk, like quality exercising, it helps to improve your overall mood and how you feel. Your body will feel a lot more energized. So you can see how amazing brisk walking is already, yet how simple it is to do. For me, brisk walking is without a doubt one of my favorite exercises and ways to keep fit.
