I talked about how I became a bit of a fan of ufc games because of its similarities to regular fighting games – well, ufc is a fighting game because it is UFC and UFC simply means Ultimate Fighting Championship – so it is a pure fighting game. This is the main reason why it is such a popular sports fighting game and really loved and played by so many players unlike the regular boxing game. Like I said previously, one of the main reasons why ufc is such a fun game to play and for me, much better than the regular boxing game is cos of the moves you can make during a ufc match. In boxing, you are only allowed to use your hands and you follow specific rules – whereas in ufc, you can use both your hands and your legs to fight, making is a much rounded fighting game. Anyone who is only used to playing fighting games like mortal kombat and tekken for instance would easily feel more at home playing a ufc game as they pretty much have a similar vibe if i'm to put it that way.
UFC games are fun to play but there arent that many ufc games around aside from EA Sports UFC, I don’t think there are any major UFC games especially on high end consoles. That is not a problem for me as EA Sports have done a great job already in producing the best ufc games in my opinion. EA Sports UFC 3 is such an amazing UFC game for high end console fans out there like myself – as always, developed by EA Sports so it is expected to be an amazing game especially when you look at EA’s track record when it comes to sports games. Ever since I started playing UFC by EA Sports, I’ve come to love and appreciate how amazing UFC is not only as a sport, but as a fun fighting game as well.
One of the many things I love about EA Sports UFC 3 is the gameplay… the gameplay and game mechanics of this game is top notch. In my opinion, this game is the best UFC game release by ea sports. The previous releases has been good but this game is better in my opinion. As far as MMA fighting game or UFC is concerned, this game is at the top… the punching, the use of combos, the way you strike and defend just makes this game such a great fighting game experience. Also, we all know how great EA are when it comes to commentary and ability to simulate real events and for me, this game doesn’t falter in that aspect as well as the commentary in the game is one of the best in a sport game. Aside the amazing gameplay, the graphics of this game is super awesome as well, the characters animation, game physics, and the overall fighting game experience is so cool. Like I said, as far as fighting games is concerned, this game is definitely in the mix of bests fighting games. It’s fun, it’s exciting and an awesome fighting game.
