Welcome to another post of mine… As always, It is yet another amazing and fun new day. So many good things happening around with an amazing cool atmosphere. In my previous post, we looked at one of the talked about questions by sports fans - why does managers/coaches receive all the blame when a team is underperforming? – It was a really fun topic to write about. As you all know by now, sports is amazing and we all know the passion and emotions that is filled in sports – not only that, the amazing benefits when it comes to fitness. Today, I will be talking about one of my favorites indoor sports called Darts. This basically like a follow up of my posts about my favourite indoor sports which is table tennis – I titled the post “The table of awesomeness”. In this post, I will be talking about darts, why it is amazing and why it is one of my favourite indoor sports…
Darts is basically a type of sports played mostly indoors. Mostly played by two or more persons which are known as players. The aim of the players is to aim/throw the small projectile which is called darts to a target. The target is circular with markings known as the dartboard. I have to say, this sport is super fun to play. Not only is the sport really fun and exciting, it also is a way to train the brain to think accurately and calculatively since the game is basically the players trying to aim for the perfect target at the center of the dartsboard.
One of the reasons why this game is really fun to play is that it can be played by multiple players which makes it more fun. The more the better. I used to play this sport quite often few years ago when I had the chance to come across it. I immediately fell in love with the sport and since then, it became one of my favorite sport due to it extremely simple to get started. Make no mistake, as simple as darts seems on the outside when watching people play it, isn’t as simple as it looks, as I used to think it was a very simple – as simple as throwing the darts and aiming for the targets, but wasn’t the case, the game requires top draw focus and accuracy to get anything let alone hitting the main target.
This is one of the reasons why I mentioned earlier that playing the game often tends to make you sharper and improve your focus and accuracy. One of those games where it is easy to learn and start but hard to achieve success. I don’t think I have ever hit the pin point target since I played darts, but I do believe that I will very soon as I get another opportunity to play the game again. I can already imagine the feeling when of hitting the main target – it will be so amazing. I miss playing darts and I can’t wait to get my hands on it again and showcase my accuracy skills :).
