Hi all, welcome to another post of mine… It is fun and exciting new day again as we look forward for great things ahead. As always, before o jump straight into the main topic for today, let’s get some few things out of the way. In my previous post, I talked about swimming and why swimming can be great for fitness… I really enjoyed writing about that topic and even though I’m not great at swimming, the benefits can never be questioned. Today, I will be talking about bowling – a fun and friendly indoor sport to play and enjoy. Indoor sports for me are my favorite type of sports as not only do I see them as a great way to catch some fun, but also great for fitness (that’s the beauty of sports – catching fun and keeping the body in good shape at the same time… Isn’t that awesome? :)…
Bowling is one of those sports you play when hanging out with your friends – it is a very fun and friendly indoor sports to play compared to most of other indoor sports. Bowling and Darts are probably two of the friendliest sports anyone can get his/her hands on and start playing right away… It doesn’t require any special training or talent before you get started. Unlike sports like table tennis where you need some really good skills before you can even playing competitively. Much like Darts, Bowling isn’t difficult to learn and get good at – with some little practice, you can get decent at it pretty quickly, and that is why I like it a lot. Don’t get it twisted, even though bowling looks easy on the outside and is quite easy to get started, it is quite difficult and a complicated sport…
As you already know, bowling is an indoor sport which involves rolling a ball down a lane to knock down a group of pins. The aim of the players is to role the bowl in such a way that it brings all the pins down. Before bowling, you need to be able to understand the conditions of the lane to bowl well. For non-professional players, bowling is a fun and leisure type sport where you can play and enjoy while hanging out with friends.
The good thing about sports like this is that is comes with a lot of benefits not only is it fun to play and helps ease stress, it is also great for fitness. If you have been following my contents recently, you will notice that I have been focusing a lot on fitness and sports that are beneficial for fitness. Bowling as simple as it looks isn’t an exception as it is also a very good way to keep fit while enjoying the fun. Some of the fitness benefits of bowling is that is can help promote muscle growth, weight loss is also one of the benefits – not only in bowling but sports in general… Sports activities is one of the best ways to lose weight.
