Extremely late Titans vs Ravens recap..Titans defeat the Ravens twice in the year 2020!

I think it's more than fair to say that the Tennessee Titans are the better team than the Baltimore Ravens. Historically the 2020 Titans will always be remembered as the better team.

Life is normal again for me in this very random and minor way.

You see the reason I ever became a Titans fan, was because I loved their logo! But a funny thing is, I remember I couldn't actually decide between two logos, the Titans logo and the Ravens logo. This was either 2002 or 2003. I asked my grandfather and my big brother which was the better team, and they looked at each other and nodded and said the Titans.

So life is normal again for me because the Titans are once again clearly better than the Ravens, just like when and why I became a fan! In that era the Titans and Ravens were not only a pair of top tier teams in the AFC, the teams were also pretty big rivals. The history goes back to the fact that the two used to compete in the same division, the defunct AFC Central. We are talking Browns-Oilers era stuff.

It just really feels good to know the Titans are superior than the Ravens, all is right with the world.

The game itself was super exciting! Stressful as always. The Titans were down as much as eleven points in the game. Mid-way through the third quarter the Titans found themselves down by eight, the Ravens with the ball until safety Amani Hooker had a clutch interception on a deep ball by Lamar Jackson.

After that the Titans took over thanks to a couple of field goals and perhaps one of the most savage runs by a receiver I've ever seen. On a massive third and ten, with the ball inside the fifteen, A.J. Brown caught a pass that was five yards short of the first down marker but A.J. Brown simply refused to be tackled and basically said 'get off me' to like four different Ravens and scored a MASSIVE go ahead touchdown late in the game. I'm so glad A.J. Brown is on the Titans.

The Ravens would get a little too close to scoring a go ahead touchdown of their own, but thankfully the only scored a field goal that would send the game into overtime.

The Ravens got the ball first and the Titans stopped them amazingly and then on offense the Titans got their crap together and really moved the ball well, as they had for much of the second half.

While the team was in field goal range to win the game, our kicking game is never a sure thing anymore. Thankfully it didn't matter because the Titans have an actual horse of a man in Derrick Henry who ran the ball for a game winning twenty-nine yard touchdown run.

It was a solidly great all-around performance for the Titans. Such a much needed win. There are little things to complain about, it wasn't always perfect, but they got rolling and got the job done in the end.

It makes the Colts game that much more important.
