Hey, how are ya doing? Life has been interesting for me as the Indian Premier League T20 Cricket matches are going on and we had 2 matches today being the double header for the weekends.
Guess what!!!!! Both the matches played today went into Super Overs and here I will take you thru those matches.
Match 1: Kolkata Knight Riders versus Sunrisers Hyderabad:

Winning the toss, Sunrisers Hyderabad elected to field First looking at the recent trend of matches won by team batting second and Kolkata started cautiously with openers Shubman Gill and Rahul Tripathi taking time to settle, but once they did, they started hitting the boundaries.
When KKR thought, they are on course for good start, Rahul Tripathi got out trying to up the scoring rate in Sixth over and wickets fell down at regular intervals for KKR and it was their current captain Eoin Morgan and stepped down captain Dinesh Kartik who accelerated the scoring in slog overs to reach a respectable total of 163.
Sunrisers Hyderabad Batting:
SRH had a change in batting order with injured Kane Williamson coming in with Johnny Bairstow to make use of the field restrictions in powerplay overs and they were successful in doing that as SRH raced to 58 in 6 overs and as soon as powerplay ended, kane Williamson departed and the wickets started trembling although their skipper David Warner was keeping one end intact.
Needing 18 for a win from final over, SRH started well with David Warner hitting 3 back to back boundaries, but just lost the gas on final 2 deliveries to level the score and took the match to Super Over!!!
Super Over:
It was a disastrous start in the Super Over for Hyderabad as they lost skipper David Warner on first ball bowled by Lokie Ferguson and Abdul Samad coming in as last batsman, hit 2 runs and got bowled himself to hand over a target of 3 runs from 6 balls for a win for KKR!!!
KKR scored a single and 2 legbyes to finish the match in 4 balls.

Lockie Ferguson was the hero for KKR as he bowled too good playing his first match in this season and took 3 for 15 runs from his 4 overs and came back to bowl super over to concede just 2 runs while bowling out 2 batsmen.
Match 2: Mumbai Indians versus Kings XI Punjab:

Table second positioned Mumbai Indians took on bottom placed Kings XI Punjab in the second match and Mumbai batted first after winning the toss with useful contributions from Quinton De Kock, Krunal Pandya, Kieron Pollard and Nathan Coulter Nile to post a score of 176.
Punjab's chase, as usual revolved around their top order with skipper KL Rahul coming good once again with others chipping in with some runs.

KXIP lost skipper KL Rahul in Eighteenth over when they needed 27 runs from last 3 overs and skipper had scored 77 from 51 balls with 3 sixes and 7 fours and after that, they kept scoring to require 9 runs from the last over bowled by Trent Boult.
Trent Boult is known for his death bowling and started well conceding single on first ball, but Chris Jordan, hit him for a Four on next delivery.
When 2 runs needed from the last delivery, KXIP cold score just a single forcing another super over for KXIP and MI as well.
Super Over:
Being second super over for both teams this season, they both were well prepared with Mumbai planning to use Jasprit Bumrah to bowl and KXIP started with KL Rahul and Nicolas Pooran and Bumrah was able to bowl out both openers conceding just 5 runs from 6 balls.
Chasing 6 runs for win, Mumbai started with their regular openers Rohit Sharma and Quinton De Kock and KXIP bowling with Mohammad Shami.
