This is the continuation from where I stopped yesterday on the reasons why I feel Lampard would be a success at Chelsea. So far, Lampard is showing signs the he has what it takes to be a huge success at Chelsea, it is only a matter of time. The club has backed him with the players he needs, and he has done a very good job in getting the team to settle and gel well enough that they are looking good so far on the pitch. Their last win against Sheff United was probably their best performance of the season and we saw what they are capable of if the team gels completely and the players know each other better on the pitch, it could be devastating for teams that would come up against Chelsea when all the players are fit.

Reputation

This doesn’t really matter when it comes to club football management, but it plays a huge role on how quickly the players trust in the manager's methods. He might not have the reputation as a manager yet since he is still new in the managerial game, but his track record as a player speaks volume for him. With this, some of the players who have watched him play and the younger players can trust that he knows his onions when it comes to being a successful player on the pitch.

Team motivation

This is an area that we have seen from Lampard’s management, his ability to motivate the players both on and off the pitch has been a key factor to why Derby County has been able to pull off some remarkable results this season. This skill will really be of great value to Chelsea, as the players can be on their toes and with the qualities they possess + the right motivation, they can really do great things.
