Which Premier League Team Can Challenge Liverpool and Man City for the Title This Season? - Part 2 and Final Part

Continuing from where I stopped yesterday… The premier league is a bit off at the moment compared to what many predicted, we are still at the early stages of the season, just about 8 matches played so far so it is normal for things to look a bit off. But it is expected that the table will start to take shape.

Man United

They have not being the same Man United ever since Ferguson left the club few years ago, however, last season was not only poor, it was a huge disappointment for them. Next season will most likely be more difficult than before, which means that they need to improve a lot in order to match the standards that has already been set by Liverpool and Man City. They have already made some quality signings, bringing in Van De Beek, Cavani, Telles, Bruno Fernandes, and will be looking to reinforce in the January transfer market as they prepare to take the premier league by surprise this season. They have a huge mountain to climb if they want to be that team to snatch Man City and Liverpool chains coming next season.

Arsenal

They have improved a lot under Arteta, and have shown that they can compete if things go their way. Last season was a learning process for them under the new manager, unfortunately losing out from their targets. This season will still be a continuation of the learning process for them, trying to fully understand how Arteta wants his team to play. With the signing of Gabriel, their defense has looked a lot better. They will be looking to put up a good challenge next season and has all it takes to challenge the likes of Man City and Liverpool for the title, if they are able to improve themselves to the level that has been set.

Spurs

Spurs always been that team to push teams all the way ever since Jose took charge of the club. Last season did go as they would have hoped for especially with Jose in charge, but so far, they are looking like a team that can do some surprising things this season. Last 2 season was a huge success for them even though they narrowly finished out of the top 3 spot in the premier league, but showed to be the second best team in Europe as they made history by reaching the champions league finals. They have always had big ambitions each season and have always managed to place themselves up there with the very best. This season is another tough challenge for them, but like they have done so far, they will be aiming to give Man City and Liverpool a run for their money this time around.

For me, I think it will be a very difficult task for any of the other top 6 teams to actually challenge the likes of city and Liverpool at least this season… as these two teams have set the bar so high that it will take a whole of hard work and determination to reach the standards they have set so far. Yes Chelsea have brought in some potential world class talent and are looking very good at the moment, same with Man United, Arsenal and Spurs who are doing pretty well so far… I still think that Man City and Liverpool will still be up there as the title contenders this season, but there is also a possibility that one of the other top 6 teams could be a force as well and have all it takes to overthrow the current top two. This season is already getting exciting so let’s see how things pans out.
