Can PSG Make it out of group H? – as they battle it out against RG Leipzig at home

The champions league is back again and we all expected, loads of exciting fixtures awaits us. One of the main talking points for today’s champions league fixtures is whether PSG will be able to make it out of their group. Well, no one knows yet as if no one predicted them to be where they are in their group at this stage of the competition especially going into the group stage as favorites to win the group. So far it hasn’t been an easy outing for PSG and once again shows why in football, past results and status doesn’t count… what matters is what happens on the pitch.

PSG will be hosting RB Leipzig later today for their champions league group stage clash, a game that is a must-win match for them if they are to give themselves hope to make it out of the group, as not making it out of the group isn’t good for their reputation especially being a club finished champions league runner up last season. they still have a very good chance of making it out of their group if they win this game so for them, this fixture against Leipzig is a must-win game for them. It would be a really exciting game as PSG would be going all blazing to get the crucial 3 points that would put them level on points with Leipzig which means that their last 2 games would be key for their qualification.

RB Leipzig have looked really good so far in this competition, continuing from where they stopped last season. This was a very difficult group for them and many thought that they might be the one that would not make it into the next round from their group. As PSG and Man United were tipped by many to be the top 2 However, they have proved their doubters and are in a somewhat good position even though they are still in a battle ground and have to win this match against PSG to put themselves in a very strong position to make it.

For me this is the kind of game that makes the champions league so exciting. This would probably be the must anticipated match in today’s matchday. For PSG, they are still in it and all they need is just to win… anything less than a win wouldn’t be good for them at all. For RB Leipzig, even a draw would be considered a very good result for them. If I am to make a prediction, I think this game could end in a draw – I don’t see Leipzig losing this game especially knowing that a win definitely puts them a step into the next round and all they need is to win one of their next fixture to qualify. This might not be a must-win game for them, but it is definitely a must not lose game for them. They would happily take a draw out of this game. Can’t wait for the game, it is going to be a really exciting game of football.
