Everton has taken a bold step by sacking Rafael Benitez as the Manager and they are looking for a successor to take over, the decision was made after a 1-2 loss to Norwich, he was fired after 6 months when he had refused to delivered and leaving him to continue taking charge could cause more harm to the team. Everton are currently in a bad performance currently and they have only won a single game in 13 games keeping them on the 15th position just a little bit away from the relegation Zone.
Several Manager has been listed to take over, the likes of Wayne Rooney of Derby, former Chelsea manager Frank Lampard, Roberto Martinez, Graham Potter and Rudi Garcia. However, Wayne Rooney is currently working hard with Derby County and he is also happy there but the fact that Everton is a new Challenge for him to up his reputation as a manager and there could be positive response from Wayne Rooney to Everton.
Graham Potter is said to not been interested to leave Brighton Hove Albion currently and he is not ready to take the Job. Roberto Martinez is considered to be the best Candidate to take over according to several media and reports. Everton are still suffering from injury and there is possibility they bounce back when their player is back to take a serious challenge in order to avoid relegation.
I saw this coming and it's expected especially with the results going against him. They lost matches they should be winning. Football can be cruel sometimes.
I don't think coach is really Everton's problem, let just see if they were right about their decisions.
I think I agree with you. There are underlying issues.
