Nemanja Matic joined As Roma for free

At the end of the season, Nemanja Matic was released from Manchester United and there was no contract offered to him making him a free agent. Since Jose Mourinho has been a coach who believed in Nemanja Matic and his pattern of play, he immediately picked interest and he cannot turn down this offer since he knows it was a good call from a manager he has done well under. Jose Mourinho have managed to secure the signing of Nemanja Matic during his time at Chelsea, Manchester United and also when he gets to As Roma. It is now officially announced that he will be playing for the Italian team AS Roma for the 2022-2023 Season with an option for additional contract.

Jose Mourinho who recieved a call from AS Roma last season after losing his last Job with Tottenham Hotspur has been rebuilding and reforming the team and he also led them to their first Major European throphy by winning the Uefa Conference league after beating Feyenoord to lift the throphy. Nemanja Matic was a big addition to the team and he will also help yo solidify the midfield, he was expected to earn €3.5 Million annually. Naturally there is that love from Mourinho to Nemanja Matic and he keeps signing him and the fact is that Jose Mourinho always win Throphy with him in the squad.

Matic will now be focusing on a new challenge in the Seria A which is a bew league for him compared to when moving from Manchester United to Chelsea. I believed there is no league in Europe he won't be able to adapt to, as he has done while at Benfica, Chelsea and Manchester United. More signing are still coming for Roma and there will be more challenging season in the Seria A.
