As the season come to an end Several players will be leaving in the Chelsea defense, player who has adapted to the team playing style and has also help the team won several throphy. It was just like a drama that it has to happen this way for Chelsea which doesn't put the team in a good state. Before the end of the season, Chelsea encounter sanction from the UK Government which makes things more tough and it almost deformed the team but Fortunately for them they are able to get a new owner after which previous owner Roman Abramovich who has steered the team to win majorly of the throphy in the cabinet was forced to sell the team due to the war going on in Russia and Ukraine and was restricted in coming to England and all his assets was freezed until the team get a new owner.
The saction was the reason why Chelsea couldn't have an advanced talk with Antonio Rudiger who was in his last year of contract and Real Madrid took the chances and he agreed on a 4 years deal back in April and the deal has been finalised and he has moved to Real Madrid. Andreas Christensen has also agreed to move to Barcelona on a 3 year deal and his deal is set to complete soon. Recently, there has been talk that Cezar Azpilicueta and Marus Alonso will also be moving to Barcelona but there is no serious talk about them both but Alonso is so serious about going back to Spain.
Chelsea are currently left with two Centre defense, Thiago Silva and Trevor Chalobah, Chelsea now have 3 defender on their list which are Jules Kounde, Presnel Kimpembe, and Juventus’ Matthijs de Ligt. They have been on Kounde deal for 2 season now but it seems they are getting closer as Sevilla are said to be looking for €80 Million and Chelsea are ready to pay €60 Million which seems like a deal sevilla may later agreed to as Kounde year of contract is reducing. Kimpembe is not ready to leave Paris Saint Germain now and he is enjoying his time at the team and if he is to leave the time is not now according to media. De Ligt was rumoured to be on Chelsea radar last summer also but there was no advance talk in place.
