The accidental discharge of the ball didn't go as planned. Hence, the failure, the first half loss to the team demoralised them, the need to have a refresh.
Locker room motivational talks didn't help, the ginger and self proclaimation of no use. The psychological damage is done already. Our loss was more imminent than our win.
Since the mind got defeated, the players went weak, the ball was dull, so was the pitch on our side. While the opponent mauled us to death, score as many as they can get.
We watched, helpless of the big team playing here. Dumb.
