Hello Blurters, it's a great pleasure to join this community and a big thank you to @the-gorilla for setting up this profile and getting us started.

About Us

We're a team of 3 FPL players who met at Bath University (UK) in 1998. We all studied Mathematics but probably spent more time playing pool than we did studying (please don't ask us what grades we got)!

We are big fans of FPL which is played by over 9 million people worldwide, many of them have their valuable opinion which they share online but very few are rewarded for this contribution.

Why Blurt?

This part is all down to @the-gorilla. With Blurt's unique position of eliminating downvotes, we can attract users without fear of them being discouraged at any point by any malicious users who dislike this type of content (for whatever reason).

If we can create an environment where new users can be supported in their registration and initial investment, we can attract a proportion of this 9 million target audience with the long-term objective of Blurt becoming the go-to platform to interact with other FPL managers. Our content will be posted exclusively on Blurt in the hope of increasing Blurt's profile and investment in the process.

FPL Experience

We have all been playing the game since the 2006/07 season, meaning that we've got 45 years of FPL experience between us. We've followed many FPL content creators (which are increasing in number each season) and whilst we're not the type of people that can comfortably sit behind a camera and create videos, we feel that with our mathematical backgrounds and FPL experience that we can create content which will benefit the FPL community and have chosen Blurt as our platform to do this (with content primarily promoted amongst Twitter's FPL community).

Between us, our highest rank finishes are 152 (David), 1,857 (@the-gorilla) and 4,266 (Dominic).

@the-gorilla has written some articles about FPL in the past and our plan is to build upon his experience with blockchain technology with our unique content and approach to the game.

Next Steps

We have been researching articles that support Blurt - articles that will guide users (step-by-step) through the registration process (without the need for an existing user to create an account) and subsequently articles that will show how to easily buy Blurt and get it into their new account.

So far we have found what we consider to be the best articles and we invite you to share any articles that might be more appropriate - we'll include them in the footer that we plan to use at the end of each article to encourage engagement and registration.

Whilst we consider this to be the official launch of our Blurt FPL project, we appreciate any feedback that you have.
