Still Alive And Kicken´ - I did it again!

Hey Blurtters!

Hope everyone´s doing fine! I had been away for a while , there were more important things to do healthwise and some family things to take care of. I had my first Pfizer vaccination the other day and the 2nd one in May.

I am joining the #blurtshorts wave and here is my contribution....My husband requested yesterday whether we could have "Brötchen", or canapés for dinner today Sunday.... I said yes and prepared eggs for cooking so I could make egg spread with mayonnaise and finely minced onion the following day. I make these canapés in events of a birthday, or whenever we have visitors or on New Years Eve.

After lunch I took a nap, then I dreamt that I was eating bread on the beach with my hat on looking at the men playing volleyball. I wanted to join them ( had been a volleyball player during my HS days) but my bread was more important since I was hungry. I woke up from the playing kids outside and was wondering where I was. I was in the bedroom in Vienna and not on the beach in Andalucia, Southern Spain. Realizing that, I looked at the time and it was 3:20. I slept too long I thought.

I forgot that I still have to cook the eggs so I could make the spread. No no no, not only that, I also forgot to take out the Baguette from the freezer...hu hu hu! Stress after the nap and I immediately cook the egg and took the bread from the freezer.

Today, the printer had a minor adjustment problem in the afternoon, as we both are not IT geeks, it took us at least an hour to see what the problem was. Good that hubby helped me cut all the veggies and the ham, the cheese, etc. Well, I finished the canapes on time, I had to...I was hungry after the stress! Lololol!
