Finally, the waiting is over and I have harvested a few of my container greens. They have grown tremendously and I am overjoyed that even if you grow veggies in containers and in a small space area like the balcony, you could still grow organic salad greens.

And so we can now enjoy the fruit of my labor where I could simply harvest fresh lettuce and chives daily. I only cut the outer leaves in case of the lettuce so it may still grow. This means that when the plants are all exhausted, I could get newbies and grow them again.

Finalmente, la espera ha terminado y he cosechado algunas de mis verduras en contenedor. Han crecido enormemente y estoy muy contenta de que incluso si se cultivan verduras en contenedores y en un área de espacio reducido como el balcón, se pueden cultivar verduras orgánicas para ensalada.

Y así podemos disfrutar del fruto de mi trabajo, en el que simplemente pude cosechar lechuga y cebollino frescos a diario. En el caso de la lechuga, sólo he cortado las hojas exteriores para que pueda seguir creciendo. Esto significa que cuando las plantas se agoten, podría conseguir nuevas y cultivarlas de nuevo.

Endlich hat das Warten ein Ende und ich habe einige meiner Container-Gemüse geerntet. Sie sind enorm gewachsen und ich bin so froh, dass man auch in Containern und auf kleinem Raum, wie z.B. auf dem Balkon, Bio-Salat anbauen kann.

Und so können wir jetzt die Früchte meiner Arbeit genießen, wo ich einfach täglich frischen Salat und Schnittlauch ernten konnte. Beim Kopfsalat habe ich nur die äußeren Blätter abgeschnitten, damit er noch wachsen kann. Das heißt, wenn die Pflanzen alle aufgebraucht sind, könnte ich mir neue besorgen und sie wieder wachsen lassen.
