The top speed of Hero Hunk 150 is 128 km / hour

I'm heartbroken. I am a student and freelancer. I live in Uttara, Dhaka. I am currently using a Hero Hunk 150 bike. Today I will share some of my experiences with this bike.

One of the interests in bikes has been working since childhood. When I was young, I used to hold a baina with my uncle to ride a bike, when I didn't know how to ride a bike. And that's why in 2006 when I was in class seven, I learned to ride a bike from my cousin. The bike was a Yamaha RX100.

Today I will discuss with you about my used Hero Hunk 150 2017 model bike. I have ridden the bike for about 2 years. I am a travel thirsty person and motto travel is my hobby. The bike I have ridden about 21,000 kilometers. I will try to show you the good and bad aspects of the bike on the hilly roads, the plains which are in most parts of the country and the experience of that ride.

Reasons to buy Hero Hunk 150 -
Many ask me why you bought this bike even in this age? In response, I would say that one of the main reasons for buying this bike is the budget. In this segment, the Hero Hunk 150 is as happy as possible.

In the case of any bike, the first thing we check is the performance of the bike, then the outlook, braking system, build quality, etc., which I am sharing with you step by step.

Outlook -
Speaking of outlook, I like the outlook of the Hero Hunk 150 bike very much. But when it comes to contemporary thinking, Hank of similar design has been coming to Bangladesh since 2012. I thought it would be better to change the body structure and make it a little more sporty and muscular. However, it is not as bad as any other 150cc bike in this segment.

Performance -
Performance is the core and main issue of a bike. The Hero Hank has a 149.2 cc air-cooled four-stroke engine with a maximum power of 10.6 kW @ 7500 rpm and can produce 12.8 Nm 7500 torque.

The initial power supply of this bike is good which has never disappointed me in overtaking or speeding on the highway. And I have traveled hundreds of kilometers in a row and its engine has never disappointed me. The bike is capable of reaching 60+ speeds in 5 seconds. Riding the bike, I have so far achieved top speeds of single 127 kmph and 119 kmph (including stock) including Pelion.

Braking & Tires -
The Hero Hunk 150 has double disc and single disc editions. I am using a double disc which has 240 mm disc brakes on the front brakes and 220 mm disc brakes on the rear brakes.

So I got very good support at breaking. The bike has 80/100 * 16 tires on the front wheels and 100/90 * 16 on the rear wheels which is less than required in the 150cc segment.

Mileage -
The Hero Hank bike has a fuel tank with a capacity of 12.8 liters (reserve -2.2 liters). I am satisfied with the mileage of Hero Hunk 150 2018 model. While riding in the city, I got mileage of 40-42 km per liter and 45 + - km per liter on the highway.

Build Quality -
When it comes to build quality, I will say that I have got good build quality. The color of the bike, starting from the finishing, the quality of each part seemed fairly good to me.

Headlights & Batteries -
The bike has a 12-volt-35/35-watt (multi-reflector) halogen headlight, which is useful for driving in the city, but disappoints me on the highway, which is why I had to install aftermarket LED bulbs. The battery of the bike is 12 volt-4 ampere MH battery performance is good, I got good support even after installing extra horn and fog light on the bike.

Suspension & Chassis -
It has two telescopic hydraulic shock absorbers in the front and a nitrox gas reservoir with swing arm suspension in the rear which has given me very good support everywhere in the city, on highways, broken roads and I have not felt any back pain hand pain all day long.

Its chassis has a tubular diamond frame which gives a very good balance to the 146 kg carb weight bike and the weight distribution of this bike is good while riding.

Meters -
Hero Hank has a half digital console where you will find digital speedometers, digital odometers and trip meters. It also has a clock, RPM meter and an analog system as a fuel gas meter.

Parts Availability -
Parts availability of Hero Hank is good which we have got in remote areas of the country when needed. I have changed parts so far which are regular - brake pads, air filters, and chain sprocket sets at 16,100 km. However, although the price of the bike is low, the price of the parts is relatively high.

Thin wheel
Vibrates a lot at high RPM
Headlights AC, low light headlights
It would be nice if the sound of the exhaust system was a little sporty

The weight distribution of the chassis of the Hero Hunk 150 is good, so the braking is fairly good despite the thin wheels. When it comes to price, Hero Hank is the best in this segment.

I am satisfied with my Hero Hank 2018 but Hank manufacturing with single tires and muscular body kit seems to be the demand of the time. Everyone will ride the bike carefully. Always wear a helmet and ride a bike. Mistakes in writing are forgivable. Thanks.
