The new Isuzu Mu-X Suv is ready to rock the shores of South Africa soon, Many articles I have read say that is is ready to compete against the Legendary Toyota Fortuner though in my opinion this almost looks just like the Fortuner.
With that being said, the South African market needs more competition as it previously left other brands in the running with setting absurd prices on SUV's and offering way less.
Isuzu launched this at a much cheaper price than the Fortuner and if you take a look a the features , one could argue that you could be getting much more from Isuzu.
Looking at the interior, it comes with a 3rd row of seats which can accommodate 7 people in total, ideal for a larger family.
It comes with a pretty neat sound system and as the Android and IOS sync feature which seems to be the new norm amongst luxury vehicles.
It comes in 4x2 and 4x4 however my preference would be 4x4, I love the idea off road trips and driving on gravel or mud. This vehicle screams adventure and excitement. The 4x4 version is priced a little higher at R700 000 however for that price you would get a Fortuner in 4x2 so you getting a bang for your buck with the Isuzu.
The 4x4 pushed out 130kw and has a 3 liter engine. When it comes to safety, the Isuzu went over and above and fitted intrusion bars around the vehicle that would aid in the event that you had a side impact.
I am really liking this SUV and it's definitely a SUV I would recommend.
